Rachid Bouhamidi was born in Palm Springs in 1981. He lives and works in Los Angeles, USA. Bouhamidi was raised in Southern California to a French mother and a Moroccan father. He received his BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and his MFA from Boston University.
Bouhamidi uses vibrant colors and repeating patterns to embellish his portraits and paintings of exotic plants.
