In response to the September 8, 2023 earthquake in Morocco, we held a silent auction and raised over €75,000 to aid teenage girls living in remote, difficult-to-reach areas in the Atlas Mountains.
100% of the proceeds went directly to EFA Morocco, a non-profit that makes education accessible to girls living in isolated villages. EFA build boarding houses close to secondary schools, enabling girls to easily go to class every day and obtain their Baccalaureate degree.
EFA have been operating since 2007. They have built and run six boarding houses and on average take care of 250 girls aged 12-18 every year.
